Combine or Separate Units

If you find you need to separate out a subunit or add it to another property, it is easy to group or ungroup properties in the system. 

How to Combine or Separate Units

To change the heirarchy of a property by assigning it to, or removing it from, a complex, use the following instructions.

In your Rentec Direct account:

1. Click Properties
2. Right-click the Subunit and choose Change Position from the drop-down menu 
3. Use the Change to drop-down on the right under Subunit Assignment to inform the software where the subunit belongs
   
   Note: To ungroup a subunit select NONE 
4. Click Change Multiplex to save changes and the unit will be moved to the new destination

Note: In order for a property to show up in the drop-down menu, it needs to be set up as a multi-unit property.
