Property Owner's Bank Account Number is Missing

If you are a subscriber to the Rentec Direct PM version of the property management software, you may notice that only the last four digits of the owner's bank account number are displayed. This is a designed feature that adds an extra layer of security and protection for you. 

Software tip: There is a 35-character limit for Account and Fraction numbers.

If you are logged in for a certain amount of time, the program will stop displaying the owner's bank account information for security purposes. 

To illustrate, let's say you have the screen open showing an owner's bank account number, leave the office for lunch, and accidentally forget to lock your screen. At that point, anyone could walk by and see the owner's bank account information, which was still displayed on the screen. This security measure prevents the owner's bank account number from being exposed.
