Blue Moon Integration

The Blue Moon Integration connects your Blue Moon account to your Rentec Direct account, allowing you to directly share lease agreements and documents created in Blue Moon with your tenants via their Rentec Direct File Library.

Connect Blue Moon to Your Rentec Direct Account

Connecting your accounts is a simple two-step process:

1. Create a Blue Moon Token in your Rentec Direct account.
2. Enter the Serial Number from Blue Moon into your Rentec Direct account.

Once connected, state-specific lease agreements created and executed in Blue Moon will be stored in your Tenant File Library in Rentec Direct, which is easily accessible.

Step 1: Create a Blue Moon Token in Rentec Direct

1. In your Rentec Direct account, click on Settings.
2. Under the Tools section, click on Utilities.
3. Click on Blue Moon Configuration.
4. Enter your Blue Moon username and password to create a Token.
5. Click the Create Token button.

Step 2 - Enter the Serial Number from Blue Moon into your Rentec Direct Account

In your Blue Moon account: 

1. Click on the Settings tab.
2. Click on the General Settings tab.
3. Under License Information, locate and copy the Serial Number. (You will need this for Rentec Direct)

In your Rentec Direct account:

1. Click on Summary 
2. Under Quick Access, click on the Blue Moon link
3. Enter the Serial Number you copied from Blue Moon and a License Name (a label to help you identify Blue Moon documents)
4. Click on Add License to save 

Working with Blue Moon Leases and Documents

Share a Blue Moon Lease or Document to Your Rentec Direct File Library

When a lease agreement or document is created and executed by both parties in Blue Moon, it will be automatically shared with your Rentec Direct account within one hour, provided Steps 1 and 2 are complete.

Important Note: The tenant email address in the Blue Moon lease must match the tenant email address in your Rentec Direct account.

View a Blue Moon Lease or Document in Rentec Direct

You have two options to locate documents in Rentec Direct:

A. View All Pending and Executed Documents:

In your Rentec Direct account:

1. Click on Summary
2. Under Quick Access, click the Blue Moon link to see a list of all documents

B. View a Specific Tenant's Documents:

In your Rentec Direct account:

1. Click on Tenants
2. Right-click on the Tenant and click on Blue Moon to see their current and historical documents
