Balance Discrepancies Report

The Balance Discrepancies Report identifies transactions that are not assigned to a category and/or have not been applied to a bank account, which can cause a Rentec Direct account to be out of balance. With clickable links, you can easily update the transactions directly from the report to bring your account back in balance.

Tip: Use this report as a follow-up to the Balance Sheet report to help maintain a balanced account.

In your Rentec Direct account:

  1. Click on Reports
  2. Under Financial, click on Balance Discrepancies
  3. Under Issue, the missing information will be identified as Uncategorized and/or Missing Bank 
  4. Click on the Amount to edit the transaction
  5. Enter the missing information
  6. Click on Save Changes to save the change and automatically return to the Balance Discrepancies report.
