Archive or Reactivate Owners

Property owners listed in Rentec Direct property management software can be quickly archived or reactivated.

Owners cannot be deleted to preserve historical data. If you are no longer managing for an owner, you can archive the owner, removing them from your current list, but able to view historical data or Re-activating if needed.

Edit or Archive Owners

The following steps walk through archiving owners.

In your Rentec Direct account:

  1. Click on Owners
  2. Right-click on the owner
  3. Click on Archive Owner to remove the owner from the active owner list. A caution will pop up, confirming you would like to archive the owner.
  4. Click on Archive Owner again to confirm

View and Reactivate Archived Owners

When an owner is archived, their information and historical transactions are preserved. The owner and associated transactions can easily be viewed and reactivated.

The following steps walk through accessing Archived Owners.

In your Rentec Direct account:

  1. Click on Owners
  2. Click on Owner Archives
  3. Right-click on any of the options to access historical data
  4. Right-click on Reactivate to change the owner to an Active status
