The traditional sticky notepad concept is available within the Rentec Direct software. This allows for taking a quick note or adding additional information to a tenant, property, account, or owner which is then apparent when viewing those specific pages.
How to Create a Sticky Note
Having a place to keep your notes within the software is a time saver.
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Choose Properties, Tenants, Accounts, or Owners.
- Right-click on which property, account, or person in step 1 and choose Notes & History.
- Click the Add Sticky Note button.
- After entering the note, click the Save Changes button.
Note: To remove the sticky note, simply delete the contents and click Save Changes.
Once a sticky note has been added, the icon seen in the screenshot below will show up next to the property, tenant, account, or owner selected as well as in their profile card under Features.
Clicking the icon brings up the sticky note which allows you to make changes and/or add additional notes.
Important note: Sticky notes are unique to having a handy accessible virtual notepad but do not have the same features as a reminder or notification. Creating a note that enables system reminders and/or emails or text reminders are a separate tool.
