Q: How do I activate PostGrid?
A: The integration makes this service automatically available to all Rentec Direct PM and Pro clients without additional setup steps 

Q: How much does PostGrid Cost?
A: There are no signup or monthly subscription fees. The only cost is the postage for mailings. The cost will be indicated before mailing and included with your monthly Rentec Direct statement, so there are no surprise bills. The mail delivery options are:

  • First Class
  • Certified
  • Certified with Return Receipt as proof of delivery

Q: What types of documents can be physically mailed with the PostGrid integration?
A: Through the PostGrid integration, you can physically mail any document that can be created in or added to your Rentec Direct account and saved as a message template using the same familiar data fields used throughout other Rentec Direct communications. Some examples of letters or notifications include:

  • Lease Renewal Notification
  • 30 Day Notice
  • Notice to Pay Rent or Quit
  • Notice to Vacate
  • Welcome letters
  • Invitation to events

Q: Can I send documents to multiple people?
A: Yes. Integration with PostGrid allows bulk mailing to multiple tenants or individuals. By selecting multiple tenants, each tenant's unique information will automatically populate, personalizing each document to be mailed.

Q: How long does it take for mail to be sent out?
A: Printing begins the business day after an order is placed, and mail is delivered 5-7 business days after, saving time, eliminating delays, and improving efficiency. 

Q: Will I have proof that I sent an item out?
A: Yes
     * A copy of documents sent through the PostGrid integration is saved to the tenants' messaging history in your Rentec Direct account, where you can View Email, Text Messages, and Recorded Messages

     * PostGrid provides real-time tracking and reporting tools to monitor the status, postage, and delivery
