Assign Owners to Properties

Property transaction details automatically carry over to the linked owner and bank account. Assigning owners to their properties is important for accurate accounting of financial transactions, reports, and tax information. Indicating the owner on their properties also ensures the owner can view their portfolio through the Owner Portal.

1. Click on Properties
2. Right-click on the property and choose Edit Property
3. Under Managers & Owners, use the Property Owner drop-down menu to select the owner.
4. Click on Update Property

Tip: Save time updating all units of Multi-Unit properties by adding the owner to the Primary unit and selecting Update Primary and Subunits.
