Linked Accounts | Switch Between Primary and Multiple Secondary Accounts

There are times when property managers or landlords may need more than one Rentec Direct account. Additional Rentec Direct accounts are referred to as Secondary Accounts and can be linked to the primary account allowing multiple Rentec Direct accounts to be accessible through your Primary Account.

Linking accounts is an administrative function and only accessible by the administrator indicated in a Rentec Direct account. For security purposes this feature is not available to any other manager or user on the account regardless of their permission settings.

Each Rentec Direct account can have an unlimited number of additional managers and users that can be allowed access for performing various tasks. Learn more about how to Add Subusers, Managers, and Additional Users to Your Account

Some of the situations where a Secondary Rentec Direct account can be helpful include:

  • When managing properties self owned in a Pro account and owned by other property owners in a PM account
  • Managing a specific owners property separately
  • To manage a newly acquired portfolio separately from existing properties
