How to Edit Displayed Information on Rental Listings and Syndicated Sites

Updating your property listing information for your marketing, website rental listings, and on syndicated sites is only a few clicks away. 

Tip: When changes are made, it will update your website immediately, but may take some of the syndicated sites up to 72 hours.

How to Edit the Rent Amount Displayed 

Changing the current market rent for a property is easy. 

In your Rentec Direct account: 

  1. Click on Properties
  2. Right-click on the property and select Edit Property
  3. Under Rental Details, change the Default Rent to the new rent amount
  4. Click on Update Property

How to Edit Other Listing Details

You can change the other listing details following these instructions. 

In your Rentec Direct account: 

  1. Click on Properties
  2. Right-click on a property and choose Marketing Info
  3. Make changes as needed then click on Save Changes

How to Edit the Contact Information Displayed 

Your account type and choices determine which contact information is displayed when a property is listed on syndicated sites. You can change the contact information displayed on syndicated sites with these instructions. 

Rentec Pro Accounts

In your Rentec Direct Account:

  1. Click on Settings 
  2. Under Account, click on Your Contact Information
  3. Update your Contact Information and click on Save Changes 

Rentec PM Accounts

The Marketing Manager indicated in the property will be the Contact person. The following steps will guide you through selecting a Marketing Manager.

In your Rentec Direct account: 

  1. Click on Properties
  2. Right-click on the property and choose Edit Property
  3. Under Managers & Owners, use the dropdown to select the Marketing Manager
  4. Click on Update Property

Updating a Marketing Manager's contact information

If contact information has changed, the following steps will guide you through updating their information.

In your Rentec Direct account:

  1. Click on Settings
  2. Under Account, click on Managers & Users
  3. Click on the Paper/Pencil icon
  4. Update information as needed. If you would like to see the individuals name instead of a company name when selecting your Marketing Manager in the property, be sure to remove the Company Name here.
  5. Click on Save Changes
