Download Data From Rentec Then Import Into QuickBooks

For those who are still using QuickBooks, your Rentec Direct software allows you to download the property management data in a compatible format for uploading to QuickBooks. 

Configure Data Display Settings 

1. Click on Settings
2. Under Program, click on Program Defaults
3. At the bottom of that page, click on Edit Advanced Settings 
4. Toggle the 'Display property and transaction memo in account ledger reports' to YES
5. Click on Save Changes

Once that has been completed, there are two options for downloading data from your Rentec Direct account to use in your QuickBooks account.

Download Option 1

In your Rentec Direct account: 

1. Click on Reports
2. Under Accounting, click on Account Ledger B 
3. Select the Report Period and Bank Account or Property
4. Click on Submit
5. Click the Excel icon to download the report to your computer or device in a .csv file format

Download Option 2 

In your Rentec Direct account: 

1. Click on Banking
2. Click on the balance to enter the ledger
3. Click on the gear at the top of the screen and select Download to save the report to your computer or device in a .csv file format

The file can now be imported using the QuickBooks importing tools.
