Attaching Files to Emails

From the Rentec Direct platform, you can upload files from your hard drive or select them from your file library to attach to any transaction. This feature is similar to those you find in Gmail or Outlook and Rentec Direct supports the function too.

How to Attach a File to an Email

First step is to draft your email. Information on sending emails can be found here: Sending Email Message to Tenants, Owners, and Vendor

Then, while sending an email, you have two options to attach a file using these easy instructions.

In your Rentec Direct account:

  1. To add a file from your computer, while drafting an email, click on the Upload File or,
  2. To add a file from the files already saved to your software File Library, click on the Choose File button

After sending is complete, emails with attachments will be indicated by a small paperclip on the envelope in the email history list. You can review the email and its attachments by clicking on a specific email from the list.

This feature works in the regular email form as well as the group email form, giving you the ability to easily send documents and other files to a number of recipients at the same time.
