Create a Desktop Shortcut
Rentec Direct property management software now offers mobile apps to access your Rentec Direct account.
Mobile apps are available for landlords, property managers, tenants, and property owners to access their portals. If your device cannot install a mobile app, the following instructions will walk you through creating a shortcut to access your account.
Important Note: These instructions are intended while using Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer (IE) browsers. Other browsers and Chromebook-enabled browsers might not allow shortcuts.
Create a Desktop Shortcut
The following steps will guide you through the process of creating that shortcut.
From the Rentec Direct login page:
- Re-size your Web browser so you can see the browser and your desktop on the same screen
- Left-click the icon located to the left side of the address bar
Note: In the image below, the icon looks like a green padlock, but it may appear as a black icon. - Continue to hold down the mouse button and drag the icon to your desktop. This creates a shortcut.
- Right-click on the icon to Rename
