Archive, Reactivate, or Delete a Lead

All active leads are located on the Lead List. You can remove them from that list by archiving the lead profile. Once archived, a lead can be reactivated or permanently deleted if desired.

Archive a Lead

The following steps walk through how to move a lead from the Lead List to the archived list.

In your Rentec Direct account:

  1. Click on Tenants
  2. Click on Leads List
  3. Right-click on the lead and choose Archive Lead
  4. You'll be presented with the warning indicated below with two options
    1. Archive Lead to automatically unlink the lead from any properties and move them to the list of archived leads
      System Note: All history, communications, and information for the lead will remain viewable by viewing All leads
    2. Cancel if you do not want to make the above changes

Reactivate or Delete Archived Leads

After a lead profile has been archived, it will stay on the Archived Lead list, where you'll find all the historical information for that lead. From the Archived Lead list, you also have the option to either re-activate that lead or permanently delete it from your software.

The following steps will walk you through Reactivating or permanently Deleting archived leads.

In your Rentec Direct account:

  1. Click on Tenants
  2. Click on Leads
  3. Click on the Filter dropdown and select All 
  4. Right-click on a lead and choose:
    1. Reactivate to automatically move the archived lead to the active Lead List or
    2. Delete Lead to permanently delete the lead and all their information from your software. When Delete Lead is selected, you will be presented with the warning indicated below with two options:
      1. Cancel (preserve the lead on your list of archives)
      2. Delete Lead to permanently delete the Lead and their history
