Edit or Delete Work Orders
It's easy to manage your maintenance tasks with work orders in Rentec Direct.
This article will guide you through how you can quickly:
Edit Work Orders
The following steps will guide you through how to edit work orders in your Rentec Direct software.
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Click on Properties
- Click on Work Orders
- Click on the paper/pencil icon or double click on the work order
- Edit information as needed
- Check the box to Email Changes to Maintenance Manager and Include Files a needed
- Click on Save Changes
Tip: Use the sort and filter options to narrow down your selection
Delete Work Orders
The following steps will guide you through how to Delete Work Orders in your Rentec Direct software.
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Click on Properties
- Click on Work Orders
- Click on the trash icon to Delete
Tip: When viewing a work order, click on the Delete Work Order button
Renumber Work Orders
The following steps will guide you through how to Renumber Work Orders in Rentec Direct software.
System Notes:
- Renumbering will apply to All historic work orders (including closed)
- Once existing work orders are renumbered, it cannot be undone
- User permission must allow access to utilities - Learn more about changing user permissions at: Add Subusers, Managers, and Additional Users
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Click on Settings
- Under Tools, click on Utilities
- Click on Renumber Work Orders
- Enter your renumbering options
- Click on Renumber Work Orders
