Rentec Direct property management software was designed to be very easy to get started with and use. When assistance is needed for a quick processing question, tenant payment issues, or more complex accounting, Rentec Direct offers many resources and ways to access help quickly.
How to Get Help
Out of the many resources available, the Knowledge Base conveniently provides the most information in one place. In addition to a full library of instructions organized by categories, there are links to current how-to articles, instructional videos, feature information, and tenant and owner resources. For those who are new to Rentec Direct, the Getting Started section is the go-to category.
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Scroll to the bottom of any page in the software
- Click on the Knowledge Base link
- Click on a Category or use the Search tool to locate specific subjects
Need Help Tool
Links to the Need Help tool can be found at the top and bottom of each screen throughout the program allowing you to search for answers quickly. It also offers direct access via chat, email, and phone number to our Success team before or after your search.
The Need Help link in the upper right corner of your screen is indicated as a question mark.
In the lower right corner of your screen, you can click on Need Help
After you click on one of the Need Help links, you will have two options:
- Click on Answers
- Scroll through and click on the article that best matches your question to view the entire article
- Click on What can we help you with? and enter any topic or question you may have. The system will search the Knowledge Base and present you with article options
- Click on Talk to Support
- Email our Support team
- Chat with our Support team (more complex questions may be better answered via email or phone call)
- Call our Support team at (800-881-5139 x2)
Tip: If you did not find what you were looking for use the X to close that search and try again or use the Ask option to reach out by Email or Chat when available.
