Syndicated Sites

Rentec Direct makes it easy to syndicate your rental listings to popular rental search websites so you can reach more prospective tenants without manually entering your listing information on each site.

You can easily control where your listings are published by selecting the sites you want to use.

You don't have to publish every rental everywhere. Choose the sites that make the most sense for your properties and your marketing strategy, then let Rentec Direct handle the listing distribution for you.

Select Your Rental Listing Sites

In your Rentec Direct account:

  1. Click Properties
  2. Right-click the property and select Marketing Info
  3. Under Publishing, click Publish Online Listing

  4. Enable Syndication will automatically be selected, and a list of available syndicated sites will appear
  5. Select or deselect the sites where you want your rental listing to appear
  6. Save Changes

Once selected, Rentec Direct sends your listing information and images to the sites you choose, so there's no need to enter the same rental details multiple times.

Zillow, Trulia, and HotPads

Zillow-affiliated sites, including Zillow, Trulia, and HotPads, require a Zillow partnership agreement to accept a syndication feed for rental listings.

To learn more about listing your rentals on these sites, contact Zillow directly.

What About Zumper?

Zumper is another popular rental search site, but it works a little differently. Rentec Direct clients can receive up to 5 free listings per month with Zumper.

A Note About Fees and Account Requirements

Some listing sites may charge a fee, limit the number of listings, or even route contacts to their own resources. Sites marked with an asterisk may require additional setup on the listing site's website.

If a site requires an account, follow its registration instructions and let them know that your listing information will be provided through an existing Rentec Direct feed.

Once everything is connected, Rentec Direct can automatically send your listing information and images, which is one less listing to recreate by hand.

Note: Rental Listing Syndication is intended for residential properties and does not support commercial properties. To advertise other than your Rentec Direct website, create the listing directly on the individual sites you want to use.

Other Ways to Advertise Your Rentals

Not every rental website accepts third-party syndication. Rentec Direct also provides tools and instructions to help you publish your vacancies on sites that require a different approach.

Craigslist
