  • Location: Beyond just the IP, the feature provides a geographic location associated with the login, offering a quick visual cue for unusual access points.
  • VPN Status: You can identify if a Virtual Private Network (VPN) was used during any login. While VPNs are legitimate tools, their use in conjunction with other suspicious indicators could warrant further investigation.
  • Risk Level: This crucial indicator assesses the potential risk associated with each login attempt. Leveraging advanced algorithms, Rentec Direct analyzes various factors to assign a risk score, immediately flagging connections that might be compromised or unusual.

Steps to Secure Your Account

Each user of your account should have their own unique login credentials and password, and should enable two-factor authentication. For further security, apply individual user permissions based on the necessary access to the account.

When anomalies have been detected, some of the steps you can take to secure your account are:

  • Change your password
  • Update your two-factor authentication or change which authentication method you are using
  • If the anomaly is on a manager or user account, reach out to them to verify login activity and advise them to change their password and possibly update their two-factor method
