Lost Password (Legacy)

This help article contains instructions for the Legacy Version of Rentec Direct. More information about the latest version of Rentec Direct can be found here: The Remodel | Rentec Direct’s Newest Software Update

The software was designed with a password reset tool in the event you have inadvertently forgot or lost your password. 

It can be reset by clicking the Trouble Logging In? link found at teh bottom of the login screen.

You will then be asked to enter your email address, phone number, and zip code in order to retrieve your password.

After submitting this information an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to reset your password.

Note: The password retrieval tool on the login page uses the email address associated with your login, as well as the phone number and zip code entered for Your Contact Information on the Settings tab. 

It is important that you keep your contact information in the system up-to-date. If your zip code has not been entered, the tool will be unable to locate your account. If this happens, try leaving the zip code field blank and enter just your email address and the phone number listed under the contact information.
