All Rentec Direct accounts include a professional website at no additional cost, which is easy to customize with your own branding, allowing tenants, clients, and contacts to easily find you online.

Build Your Custom Website

The following steps will guide you through the process of building your custom website. (Once you've established your website, use the steps below to design and customize it.)

Tip: Hover over the "?" for helpful details.

In your Rentec Direct account:

1. Click on Settings
2. Under Program, click on Website
3. Scroll down to Title. The title displays in your visitors' browsers and is also how search engines display your site in search results. You can write your own title, or leave it blank, allowing the system to automatically generate a title that includes your company name and location.

4. Enter a Description of your business that may result in search pages. This is a great place to add a description of your company that will appear in search results but not on your website.

   Enter a Web Address where you direct clients to view your professional website and property listings. Under 'View', enter a name that reflects your company; typically, your company's name works well. (Only letters, numbers, the underscore (_), and hyphen (_) are allowed here).

   This is where you will direct:

   1. Applicants to online applications, leads to add themselves, and potential owners (clients)

   2. Add login links for tenants and owners who don't use mobile to log in to their portal

Advanced Options

1. Domain - If you have a custom domain (such as www.yourdomain.com) that you want to point to your professional website, enter it here

2. Analytics ID - If you use Google Analytics to track visitors to your website, enter the unique GA4 analytics ID here. We will then automatically connect your website to Google Analytics.

3. iFrame URL - Using this link, you may embed your property listings in your own custom website and customize the color scheme. Click the clipboard button to the right to copy the link.

Design Your Custom Website

Use the following steps to access the Website & Branding and begin designing your custom website.

In your Rentec Direct account:

1. Click on Settings
2. Under Program, click on Website
3. Click on the expand icon to view the website as a full page (click on the collapse icon to reduce the size)
4. Select a color Theme that best reflects your brand (this can be changed at any time)
5. Click in a Header or Text Box to enter your custom messaging. Use the toolbar to customize the fonts or add links.
6. Click on the image to upload your preference
7. Continue to update the next 4 sections using the same steps
   1. Save Draft to save your progress before leaving the page
   2. Click on Preview to see how your website looks
   3. Click on the Show button to display on your published website
   4. Click on Publish for your website to go live (only displaying the sections you choose to show)

Helpful Tips and FAQs

Q) Do I have to display all five sections on my website?

A) You do not have to display all five sections. You can share only the sections you would like to be viewed at that time, allowing you to create and update your website on your schedule.

Q) How can I view my website?

Input your web address, either as <yourbrand>.propertymanage.biz or propertymanage.biz/<yourbrand>, into the URL window at the top of your browser. To view your website live, you must have updated and saved the new content in the Website Editor tool.

Example: mworld.propertymanage.biz or propertymanage.biz/mworld will take you to the Rentec Direct demo account custom domain.

Q) Who can design a website for me?

Rentec Direct has partnered with Cevado as an option for Rentec Direct clients. There are also other options such as GoDaddy, Squarespace, and Wix.

Q) Can I add a QR Code to my website or your new website to flyers, banners, and other marketing material

Yes, many clients add a QR code to the marketing info of available rentals to print out as flyers

Q) Is the Rentec Direct-provided website secure?

Yes, keeping your data safe and secure is a top priority at Rentec Direct. Website security encompasses SSL certificates, server hosting, encryption overhead, and firewalls as enhancements to your website.
