Setup Text Messaging
Rentec Direct property management software subscriptions include an SMS/Text messaging feature with all Pro and PM accounts at no additional cost.

Establish Your Dedicated Messaging Number
Rentec Direct provides all clients that would like to use sms texting through Rentec Direct software their own dedicated number. Simply follow the steps below to submit a request and let us know. Our team will email your number within 48 business hours.
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Click on Tenants
- Right-click on any Tenant and choose Messaging
- Click on the envelope (send text option)
- The image below will display with a default area code. Enter a different area code if you prefer.
- Click on Submit Order
System Note:
If you would like to add the SMS/Text feature and are not seeing the option, you may be on an older plan. Try the following steps or reach out to your Success Team for assistance.
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Click on Settings
- Under Account, click on Your Account & Subscription
- Click on Modify Subscription
- Click on Switch to Rentec PRO or PM
- Click on Upgrade Subscription
