Lost Password
Rentec Direct property management software is designed with a password reset tool in case an authorized user's password is lost or forgotten.
System Note: Rentec Direct offers mobile apps to property managers, landlords, subusers, tenants, and owners, which can make logging more secure and easier to save login and passwords.
If a password needs to be reset, on the login screen, click on Forgot Password
You will then be asked to enter your email address, phone number, and zip code in order to retrieve your password.
After submitting this information an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to reset your password.
Note: The password retrieval tool on the login page uses the email address associated with your login, as well as the phone number and zip code entered for Your Contact Information in your Settings.
It is important that you keep your contact information in the system up-to-date. If your zip code has not been entered, the tool will be unable to locate your account. If this happens, try leaving the zip code field blank and enter just your email address and the phone number listed under the contact information.
