Have all users, team members, tenants, and property owners log in using their appropriate Rentec Direct app whenever possible. Mobile apps provide a more reliable and secure login experience.

Verify portals are enabled
Make sure authorization for portal access is turned on in the software
- Tenant Portals are enabled
- Owner Portals are enabled

Confirm subuser access
Make sure subuser accounts are configured to allow them to log in. (Subusers establish their own 2FA when they log in)
- Edit the subuser profile to verify Enable User Account is checked
Avoid Login Delays From Search Engines
Accessing the login page from a search engine (for example, typing "Rentec Direct login" into Google)may trigger a security notice and cause a short delay while the system verifies the request.
- This verification typically takes about one minute
- If, for some reason, you're unable to use the mobile app, to avoid delays, bookmark the official login page by going to Rentecdirect.com > Login>select the appropriate login link>bookmark the page

Security Steps You May See During Login
To keep your account safe, Rentec Direct uses multiple security measures. During login, users may be asked to:
- Enter a username and password

- Complete two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Wait briefly while a security notice completes
These steps are normal and help prevent unauthorized access.
All users of accounts with online payment processing enabled are required to set up two-factor authentication and will be prompted to complete it when they first log in.
