Create a Mobile App Shortcut

Rentec Direct property management software now offers mobile apps to access your Rentec Direct account. Mobile apps are available for landlords and property managers as well as tenants and property owners to access their portals. If your device is not equipped to install a mobile app, the following instructions will walk you through creating a shortcut to access your account.

It only takes a few simple steps to get instant access to your Rentec Direct property management software on your mobile smartphone. Adding a shortcut to your home screen allows you to use the software as if it were a mobile app. 

Add an iPhone Shortcut

From your iPhone web browser: 

1. Login to your Rentec Direct account
   
   Tip: To save time logging in down the road, select the Remember Me box. 
   
   Important Note : Enable 2-factor authentication for greater account security.

2. Choose the Download button on the bottom bar. It looks like a rectangle with an arrow pointing up
3. Click Add to Home Screen which looks like a square containing a plus sign
4. Click the Add button in the upper right side of the screen

Your home screen will now have the Rentec Direct app icon and should look like a mini version of the summary screen.

Add an Android Shortcut

From your Android phone web browser: 

1. Login to your Rentec Direct account
   
   Tip: To save time logging in down the road, select the Remember Me box.

2. Click the More Options icon in the upper right corner of the screen. It looks like 3 little vertical dots
3. From that drop-down menu, choose the Add to Home Screen option
4. Click the Add button. 

Your home screen will now have the Rentec Direct app icon.
